Hello and welcome, one and all, to my tenth artpoast on this journal! How exciting. And, as I think is a complete rarity, this post actually doesn't have any porn in it at all. ...Well, it's got some sexiness, but what can you expect from a post that's mostly full of hottastic creatures. And fanart. Dear GOD the fanart. I don't think I've ever drawn so much in quick succession in my entire life. Ugh. Anyway, it's all after the jump. Enjoy. (I've called it SFWish because, you know, large colourful images.)

Let us start with a griffin:

I don't really know where I was going with this one. I like the pastelly, washed-out colours, but then I spoiled it with that shadow. Don't really know what to do about it. Do I leave it? Change it? But how? Do you really care? Oh well.

This is a mere and scrawly scribble:

The two heads at the top are Ivan and Weiss, as drawn by sibling. The Weiss in the cassock is Weiss. I am in the middle, being me. Sibling evaluated how I'd drawn my own face. Bronze agrees. The end.

More headmates! Because we all love those:

Malachiah is tiny and cute! BRONZE HAS A GIANT FACE. That is all I have to say about this one.

And then I drew Friedrich:

...Which is all things I'm not going to explain here! So. The drawing made me sad, so I added a cheerful dog to cheer me up. Who couldn't be cheered by such a lovely wagger. Communists, that's whom.

TIME FOR A BIT OF FANART I THINK EH WOT

This is Dasha from Red Alert 3. I have a giant throbbing boner for her. I am not allowed to draw her making out with other girls. I AM NOT ALLOWED TO DRAW HER MA- oops.

SPOILERS: ONE OF THE CHARACTERS WEARS FACES. So here is Pavi, wearing a face. This is the update of scrawling all over my own work, I see.

See what I mean?

So I went to see Watchmen, loved it, and shat some Ozymadias-based wank out into my sketchbook. I wanted some kind of heroic, recruitment-poster image. What I got was a plastic cat. And he has no feet. NO ONE I DRAW EVER GETS ANY FEET BECAUSE I ALWAYS START TOO FAR DOWN THE FUCKING PAGE. Did you notice? Look back over the rest of this journal, go on, I'll wait here.

See? I keep missing their feet out. It's all my own stupid fault for not listening when Mr. Higgins told us about composition in class.

AND THEN. OH GOD. THEN MY BOYFRIEND WAS ALL "Draw General Moskvin from RA3 sitting astride a tank barrel, smoking" AND I DID

AND THEN I EXPLODED WITH HOT. Fffffffucking h- right, this is Nikolai Moskvin from Red Alert 3, with whom I have a bit of a fangasmic pelvis-lead obsession. Because he's a short-tempered, arrogant, sadistic psychopath with an unhealthy fascination with Tesla coils, a delicious Russian accent and a very nice uniform. I have several buttons! THEY ARE ALL MARKED "FAP". Please to be ignoring how the tank looks like a mound of comfy cushions. It will look amazinger when I've coloured it.

AND NOW, THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. On Twitter, right, I asked my readers what I should draw - short, quick ideas, first three to respond would get drawn. I picked four, rather than three, because ...I'm me.

My mate Beardy Dave asked, to start off with, for "Giant robot crow devouring railway tracks." This is what he got:

Then, my darling Mia said, "draw me walking in on an orgy of memes. AT 10 AM.". AND THIS HAPPENED:

GOODNESS ME JUST LOOK AT THE TIME, etc. Kinda wanna colour it.

Then! Dear Syn!Dave said this: "You, Moskvin, lizard brain imagination. Go!" Now. As above, I do like my Moskvin. So the temptation to draw porn was high. But then I thought, "Er, drawing porn of self = no" SO THIS IS WHAT I DECIDED UPON:

Annnnd thennn, my bff Mim said, "John Dee, looking ingenious, in a study overlooking the Thames. Alright, that's not very "quick doodle", is it." I had this amazing mental image of him in a jet-propelled glass zeppelin, cruising above the Thames, and sat down to draw that, but... but then this happened instead:

That concludes this artpoast. All of that, bar Dasha and Pavi, was drawn in Wales! Hooray for Wales and its stimulating my creative juiceglands to squirt their perfumed effluvia all over my gaping, waiting sketchpaper. ...Sorry, I'll... rein that in next time. Uh. Yeah! The lesson we learn is watch my Twitter. Lol could happen, and who knows! Maybe one of these drawings will end up yours!

1) I love the griffin. I really do, though. Its beak is particularly perfect.

2) Oh Mal and Bronze. :x My kids love your kids. Yes they do.

3) I-is it wrong that I like the cheerful dog better than the man? >.> sorry. BUT SO CHEERFUL :(

4) Your drawing of Ozymandias = genius. Your drawing of his genetically mutated catbeast = whatever the next step up from genius is. Lupie, why couldn't you have designed the entire film? IT MIGHT NOT HAVE SUCKED SO COCKING MUCH OH GOD THE RAGE IS BACK *sits on it because this is about squeeing over your art*

5) I ♥ the giant robot crow.

6) I can't begin to tell you how wonderful that last piece is. I actually can't, I wouldn't know where to start. You should send it to Neil Gaiman and then to EVERYONE ELSE, EVER. It is the stuff books are made of and you should be amazed at yourself.

I like cheerful dog better than Friedrich, too, but this is because FUCKING. LOOK HOW CHEERFUL IT IS.

I should have actually designed the entire film. We all know how it'd have been, then. THERE'D BE MONSTERS. Riots in the streets because it didn't follow how the book went at all! Rorshach piloting giant clockwork tentacled squid across the sky, raining fire and salt from on high while saying "Hurm"! Ozymandias having a harem of boys! NITE OWL'S FLYING MACHINE ACTUALLY BEING AN OWL THAT REFUSES TO FLY DURING THE DAY AND INSTEAD WALKS EVERYWHERE. You know it makes sense.

Thank you re: the last one, I thought it'd not sit right with your brain, but hooray! so that's good :D DO YOU THINK SO?! Christ, wow, that's a compliment and a half~ MAYBE I SHALL, AFTER ALL, I DO FOLLOW HIM ON TWITTER.

I forgot to say how much I love the fanart of Pavi, too, but I haven't seen the film yet (soon, is the plan) so it's a little hard to match it up in my brain~ but it is beautifully drawn.

why couldn't you have designed the film :( there would have been more awesome, and less Dan standing nakedly and sadly in front of the batsuit :(

I honestly think everyone should see that last thing, I think it is more than amazing. I just don't know how to express it, you've done something really extraordinary there. (It is not facially my mental image of John Dee and therefore does not terrify the shit out of me :)

	The thing is, that particular design of tank from the game is all round-edged and chunky like that. I've forgotten its exact name, but it's the giant one with the two guns - I've done the bloody scale wrong, too, damn damn damn. Oh well. For, you see, I have you and another friend from Essex on my Twitterfeed... and both you and other person don't know each other but you both know Syn and Mim. I've met Syn, but not Mim.

Seconding everyone else's GLEE at John Dee. DEE GLEE. I love the Klimitsh two-dimensionalness of the decorations and swirls and stuff! And the COMPOSITION. His HANDS. Yes.

Also I don't know Red Alert but your Moskvin art is awesome. The first one has linework of JOY and also reminds me a bit of Jamie Hewlitt, and the second one is perfect and made me cackle, a lot.

I want to see Sweeney Todd/Mrs Lovett fanart in a similar style. With the stripy bathing suits. Are you still taking requests?

	Thank you very much! Lol, I sent Neil Gaiman the John Dee via Twitter. He'll probably never see it. But you never know, he might do. :) Lineart is my friend at the moment.
