I'm going to need to start learning Roman numerals for stuff beyond the variants on twenty, aren't I?
Anyway, here's a couple of things I did over Hallowe'en. Be warned: there is porn in here, and it isn't very nice porn, either. So... you know, I have warned you now. So it's your own perogative whether you go and look or not. So don't say I didn't warn you because I just did, and you'd be lying.

It's been a while, hasn't it? This is probably because I'm focussing on actually finishing portfolio-worthy work and posting it to my snazzy portfolio website (which, incidentally, you should check all the way out because it is GORGEOUS) (no really), and also a billion other things that have eaten my time away this month. I'd go into it, but really; it's quite boring really, and I'm not sure you care that much if you're just here for pretty pictures. SO BRING THOSE ON, OKAY.

I'm having an artistic drought at the moment. It's very sad, but I put it down to the fact that I've just bought a house and am moving into it maddeningly soon, and stress fucks up my juice.
Oh, and I'm having epic family problems, too, but the least said about that, the better, I think. It'll work out. Uh. Well, I said that, but. Anyway!
Art. That's what you're here for. Not my life story, 'cause that's tedious. Art isn't tedious! So let's just get straight on with what little we have here and it'll all be peachymarvellous.

My God, this month. It has been ...pretty rubbish, actually. I've been quite down, nothing's been working right, and I've had art block for ages. And then just as I got out of the art block, other things went wrong! Ugh. It's just been one thing after another. Never mind. The art in this post is okay. I'm happy with lots of it, and the one at the end is especially good. So if your July's been as shitty as mine (okay, not all of it; I went to see NIN on the 15th and that was GODLIKE) come on in and cheer yourself up by laughing at the rubbish I churn out and call "art".

Well, I just got back from a 3-day LARP event under my local system (Cambridge Treasure Trap, if you're interested) which I foolishly, perhaps, volunteered to help run. It was a lot of work, effort and... fun! I was totally expecting it to eat me alive with stress and horror, but it was totally brilliant. A refmate saved my sanity on a number of occassions by having pens and paper hanging around, the results of which can be seen below, along with some incest. So if you don't like incest, you'll want to jump this one.

Wow, this artpost has been a lot like passing a kidney stone the size of your head. Or maybe even your mum's head. Yeah. Like that. So forgive me if my ramblings are a little more obtuse than normal - I started out loving all the art I've given you here, and then as I post-processed it on Photoshop I started wanting to roll it into spikes and stuff it into my eyes. It's been one of those weeks. Shut up! I'm an artist! This is how I roll, okay? Okay. ;)

Twelve already? We're getting on, aren't we? There are more in this than the last, and there's probably going to be quite a large one soon, because I have lots of ideas. But no time to put them down, hmm. I've been writing a lot more than I've been drawing recently. How weird is that? If you know me, and my preference for images over text, the answer is "very". I think in cinematics! Recently, I've found that I can write them down and evoke the images as I go. Cool, huh? I never realised I could. I just assumed that I'd be better off drawing them.
And I am, honestly; my writing isn't very good, but it's good for linking a series of images and feelings with motion in a way that you can't really do with static images. You can't evoke a smell with a drawing, say, and smell is one of my main things. Sight, sound, smell. That's me.
God, I'm waffling. Sorry. Here's some art for you. Warning: IT'S ALL IN COLOUR!! A first, I know! I was shocked too! And also, the most recent round of Twitter DoodleTime is in here. :) Enjoy.

Hello and welcome, one and all, to my tenth artpoast on this journal! How exciting. And, as I think is a complete rarity, this post actually doesn't have any porn in it at all. ...Well, it's got some sexiness, but what can you expect from a post that's mostly full of hottastic creatures.
